The launch of our first ranking of 2025 is fast approaching – the QS International Trade Rankings 2025 will be released on 12 February.

Following the Ranking’s first iteration in 2023, and subsequent revised methodology in 2024, the 2025 methodology remains the same.

What is the QS International Trade Rankings?

Developed in partnership with the Hinrich Foundation, these rankings measure the universities that offer cross-border trade education. The International Trade Rankings focuses on international business and trade course content, innovative teaching, as well as the job prospects of the institutions and programmes.

Part of the QS World University Rankings suite, the rankings are designed to help students identify the programmes that will best prepare them for a career in global trade, provide universities with effective comparative tools to uplift global trade education, and enable companies to hire work-ready graduates.

What will the QS International Trade Rankings 2025 feature?

There will be two sets of results released. One that ranks MBA and Master’s programmes, and the other that ranks Executive MBA programmes. This enables students to accurately compare a programme’s quality based on their intended level of study.

“The Hinrich Foundation extends its congratulations to the leaders of the two International Trade Rankings 2025: the MBA and specialized master’s, and the executive MBA programs,” said Alex Boome, Program Director of the Hinrich Foundation. “These distinguished programs are acknowledged for their comprehensive trade curriculum, which encompasses critical areas such as cross-border trade, policy formulation, logistics, international trade finance, and cross-cultural leadership. Additionally, the rankings highlight the importance of faculty members who possess extensive industry experience, foster strong connections with the business sector, and employ innovative teaching methodologies.”
