Alisha is QS’s Chief People Officer and operates out of Melbourne Australia. She leads on people, culture and inclusion processes across the company, helping to develop diverse teams and responsible leadership. At QS, she cultivates an environment where colleagues are inspired to be creative, collaborate and flourish that aligns with QS’s mission to empower students and institutions to achieve their educational and career goals. 

Prior to joining the company, she held a range of roles at Hobsons, before it was acquired by QS in 2017, where she was instrumental in advancing the student success strategy, as well as people-centric initiatives that continue to have a lasting impact on the organisation.

Beyond her responsibilities at QS, Alisha is actively engaged in various professional networks and industry forums that focus on people leadership and organisational behaviour with a strong interest in how advances in technology can support people performance. In 2025, QS achieved the prestigious Investors in People Gold Accreditation, a testament to the long-term organisational commitment to nurturing an environment where every employee can thrive and contribute meaningfully. This was the result of a comprehensive set of initiatives around talent acquisition, employee development, and transformational people processes led by Alisha and the People and Workplace team. 

QS has led numerous initiatives to foster sustainable professional growth, including comprehensive mentorship programs and bespoke leadership development programme. Through a focus on how technology can underpin the performance of our people, Alisha has championed the adoption of AI technologies, and the integration of data-driven insights into HR processes. 

In her leadership role within Student Success operations, she pioneered the use of machine learning and predictive analytics to predict student enrolment and retention outcomes, leading to the coveted Digital Innovation of the Year: Technology award through The PIE Awards (2021).
