


As Chief Financial Officer, Matthew leads a global team focused on delivering the on the company’s finance management and governance objectives. At QS, Matthew has overseen the acquisitions of StudentApply and HolonIQ, innovated automation and payment operations and enhanced QS’s corporate governance practices. He is accountable for the company’s financial and governance function and has developed a team of 39 in five countries.
Previously, Matthew trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG after studying Classics and Modern Languages at St Catherine’s College, Oxford. He has held roles at BBC Technology, telecommunications company, Arquiva, and Siemens.

Outside of work, Matthew lives with his husband in central London and enjoys taking advantage of the theatre, cinema, museums and galleries on his doorstep. He also enjoys escaping to the coast and the countryside to go walking and cycling.
