The launch of the next QS ranking is fast approaching – the International Trade Rankings 2024 will be released on May 22nd.

Following a pilot edition of the rankings in 2023, we have listened to feedback from the sector, and revised the methodology for the QS International Trade Rankings 2024.

What is the QS International Trade Rankings?

Developed in partnership with the Hinrich Foundation, these rankings measure the universities that offer cross-border trade education. The International Trade Rankings focuses on international business and trade course content, innovative teaching, as well as the job prospects of the institutions and programmes.

Part of the QS World University Rankings suite, the rankings are designed to help students identify the programmes that will best prepare them for a career in global trade, provide universities with effective comparative tools to uplift global trade education, and enable companies to hire work-ready graduates.

What will the QS International Trade Rankings 2024 feature?

There will be two sets of results released. One that ranks MBA and Master’s programmes, and the other that ranks Executive MBA programmes. This enables students to accurately compare a programme’s quality based on their intended level of study.

“The Hinrich Foundation congratulates the leadership of all MBA, specialised masters and executive MBA programmes on the International Trade Rankings 2024,” Alex Boome, Hinrich Foundation Program Director, said. “The top programmes are recognised for offering robust trade programme content, including courses on cross-border trade, policy, logistics, international trade finance and cross-cultural leadership. The results also reflect programmes with professors with rich industry experience, strong industry engagement and innovative teaching approaches.”
