Universities and news outlets around the world have been posting and tweeting about the results of this year’s rankings, mostly with a healthy mix of excitement and pride.
MIT
As the No. 1 university listed in the QS World University Rankings for the fourth year running, MIT has a lot to be proud of.

LSE
One of our biggest climbers this year – in fact, our biggest climber by far – was the London School of Economics and Social Sciences. They rocketed up the rankings this year and were also ranked second in the world for social sciences.

The QS World University Rankings were a hot news item, especially in countries that saw their prominent universities rising up through this year’s rankings. News 24, a 24-hour online news service in from South Africa, tweeted about the success of their Stellenbosch Univeristy.
