The QS World University Rankings 2024 are now live!
This highly-anticipated edition marks the 20th year of our industry-leading analysis of the top performing universities across the globe, and represents the success of a 20-year partnership with the higher education sector.
Our biggest edition to date – featuring 1,500 institutions – QS World University Rankings 2024 introduces three new indicators to reflect the changing priorities of students and the evolving missions of world-class higher education institutions today: a commitment to sustainability; even greater emphasis on supporting graduate employability and increased international research collaboration to solve the world’s biggest challenges.
Speaking in a recent interview, 20 years of the QS World University Rankings, QS Founder and President, Nunzio Quacquarelli, said: “While we have always tried to remain consistent in our methodology, we must also evolve to reflect the changing missions of universities.
He added: “We recognise that the global student community we serve understand the significance of the climate crisis and see a real responsibility among universities in supporting the sustainability agenda.”
QS is the first of the major world rankings to include sustainability as a core metric.
Our QS insights experts will be covering these details and rationale of the changes, and more, at our upcoming webinar: QS World University Ranking 2024: Excellence & Exploration on 10 July 2023.
