2019 QS World University Rankings: Arab Region Supplement

Welcome to the QS World University Rankings: Arab Region 2019. This year we are pleased to report that we have extended the number of universities we are ranking in the Arab Region to 120.
The methodology for the Arab Region ranking is now based on ten indicators, some of which you may recognize from our World University Rankings exercise, published annually in June.

The ten indicators that compiled this ranking were the following:

  • Academic Reputation
  • Employer Reputation
  • Citations per Papers
  • Citations per Faculty
  • International Research Network (new)
  • Student to Faculty Ratio
  • Staff with PhD
  • International Faculty
  • International Students
  • Web Impact
