The QS Global MBA and Business Master’s Rankings 2025 feature a comprehensive analysis of 1,157 Graduate Management Education (GME) programmes worldwide, an increase of 78 from last year. The rankings evaluate the performance of institutions across leading full-time MBA programmes and five key business subjects: Marketing, Management, Finance, Business Analytics, and Supply Chain Management.
In the Global MBA category, Stanford Graduate School of Business remains in first place, scoring highly in indicators such as Entrepreneurship and Alumni Outcomes, Thought Leadership and Employability. The University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, Harvard Business School, MIT’s Sloan School of Management take second, third and fourth place respectively.

New entrants
In the QS Global MBA rankings, 33 programmes made their debut, with New Zealand’s Massey Business School, scoring the highest in Diversity. Notably, the University of the West Indies at Mona is the only institution from Latin America and the Caribbean to enter the ranking. Subject categories also saw fresh entries, including 18 new entrants in Master’s in Management, 23 in Master’s in Finance, 20 in Master’s in Business Analytics, 13 in Master’s in Marketing, and 10 in Master’s in Supply Chain Management.

The US boasts an impressive number of institutions offering MBA programmes. However, India is rapidly emerging as a significant player in the global MBA landscape, now matching Australia in its number of institutions. The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore and IIM Ahmedabad ranked the Asia region’s top 10 —at eighth and ninth place, respectively. These institutions excel in areas such as Thought Leadership, Return on Investment, and Employability.
More institutions than ever before are participating in the QS Global MBA and Business Master’s Rankings 2025. Notably, three ranking categories: Master’s in Management, Master’s in Business Analytics, and Master’s in Supply Chain Management achieved submission rates exceeding 80%, highlighting a growing commitment to global benchmarking and academic excellence in these areas.
Notable changes in the top 100
Melbourne Business School is the national leader in Australia and home to Oceania’s best MBA programme. Ranked 32nd globally, the institution performed highly in Thought Leadership and is the region’s best score for Employability and Return on Investment.
In Italy, Bologna University Business School is the best performer – moving up eight places in Master’s in Supply Chain Management (now ranked 39th). China’s highest-ranked full-time MBA programme is offered by Tsinghua University, which places 29th. It is Asia’s second highest-ranked MBA due to its impactful Thought Leadership, Employability, and Return on Investment.
Suliman S. Olayan School of Business in Lebanon is the Arab Region’s best Global MBA provider. It ranked 79th globally. This rank is underpinned by exceptional Return on Investment and Alumni Outcomes.
